Welcome to Classic Cooking Academy! We are dedicated to providing the best professional culinary education to individuals pursuing culinary careers, or for individuals looking to improve their culinary talents. The Academy is designed with three very important factors in mind: Classic French Technique, Native American Ingredients, and you!

Classic French technique is practiced in every professional kitchen. Before anyone applies individual interpretation to food preparation, he or she must have knowledge of basic to advanced culinary techniques. This allows anyone to thrive in this demanding industry. Our students learn these skills through one on one interaction with our classically trained instructors. Upon completion, the Academy will ensure that every student be well rounded in Classic technique.

Classic Cooking Academy is different from all culinary schools in the country in that we are the only school with a Native American Culinary department. This department encourages the use of ingredients indigenous to the Americas in new ways the world has yet to see. Through this department we also encourage healthier ways of food preparation, while addressing problems such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. In addition you will receive an in depth history of Native American culinary trends and traditions.

The classes at the Academy are small. Small classes ensure that every student is given the same amount of attention. We offer the tools necessary to perform in a professional kitchen. You will also work independently to enhance your creativity and in groups to develop teamwork concepts. By the end of your studies you will have a firm grasp of Classic technique, adapting and understanding Native American ingredients, and a good attitude of technical and practical experience that will make you the best culinarian you know you can be!
